A move-out clean gets judged differently than a regular clean — it usually has to hold up to a landlord's walkthrough or a new buyer's inspection. This checklist covers the areas that get scrutinized most.
Kitchen & Bathrooms
- Inside and outside of all cabinets and drawers
- Oven interior and stovetop degreased
- Refrigerator interior and exterior wiped
- Tile grout, showers, and toilets deeply scrubbed
Living & Bedrooms
- Inside all closets and shelving
- Baseboards and door frames wiped down
- Interior windows and sills cleaned
- All floors thoroughly swept and mopped
